Protect Our Trails

We are cyclists, runners, and hikers dedicated to providing awareness to trail users on how we can all preserve, sustain, and protect our trails.

WHY?

The photos below depict widespread and significant damage to our local trails as witnessed on February 18, 2014. This is why we started Protect Our Trails. We want to reduce or eliminate this type of trail damage on our trails and yours. We think an educated public is the way to do that.

HOW?

Our first order of business was to create "DO NOT RIDE" trail signage to be posted at trailheads when conditions warranted. We believe in the power of social media and will be posting trail updates and conditions on Instagram and Twitter as often as possible.

DOWNLOAD

Download our standard "DO NOT RIDE" flyer. Add the date, slip the flyer into a clear sheet protector, and post it at your trailhead.
